Headline: ARC Seeks Input from Hapeville Residents to Help Shape Metro Atlanta’s Future
What kind of transportation projects should be prioritized? What are best long-term solutions to our traffic challenges? These are just some of the questions on a survey developed by the Atlanta Regional Commission to gather input for a major update to the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
What’s at Stake:
The plan will allocate about $173 billion in federal, state, and local funding through 2050 for transportation projects throughout Hapeville and the Atlanta region. These dollars will fund projects to ease traffic congestion, provide new transit and bike-ped options, improve safety, and provide commute alternatives.
The survey will help ARC prioritize how these funds are spent. It also covers a number of quality-of-life issues such as housing and the economy. Make sure your voice is heard and that Hapeville is represented at the regional table!
