Mandatory Court Appearance

Mandatory Court Appearance is required for the following offenses:

  • Driving under the Influence
  • Failure to stop & render aid
  • Hit & run
  • Racing/ Contest of speed
  • Gasoline Drive-off
  • Commercial Vehicle violations
  • Using a vehicle to elude an officer
  • VGSCA (possession of marijuana)
  • No insurance

All persons under the age of 21 must appear in court for any service violations under O.C.G.A 40-5-57.1.

  • Driving on a suspended/revoked license
  • Duty of Driver
  • Eight moving violations in 5 years
  • Theft by shoplifting
  • Aggressive Driving
  • Underage possession/drinking of alcohol
  • Speeding/ 30 miles per hour over the limit 

Any Charge that may suspend your driver's license or is a fingerprintable offense.

If you are under the age of 21 or driving on a Clase D license.  

If you are under the age of 21 contact the Court prior to paying your citation.
