    1. How to Apply for a Transient Merchant Vendor Permit


      The City of Hapeville offers two types of Transient Merchant Vendor Permits:

      • 90-Day Permit – $100.00 fee; valid for 90 days from the date of issuance.
      • 3-Day Permit – $50.00 fee; valid for three consecutive days as stated on the permit.
      • Fee Waived-City Sponsored; valid for the date(s) of the event only. 

      Application Requirements:
      To apply for a Transient Merchant Vendor Permit, applicants must submit the following:

      ✅ Completed Application Form – Ensure you select the appropriate permit type.
      ✅ Executed Indemnity Agreement (PDF) – This document releases the City of Hapeville, its employees, agents, and elected officials from liability related to Mobile Food Vendor activities.
      (Food consumption vendors-Only) County Health Department  Approval – A copy of an approved permit from the local County Health Department.
      Proof of Liability Insurance – Coverage must be at least $1,000,000.00. If the vendor does not have individual insurance, they may operate under an existing business policy with proper documentation.
