Overview
The City Clerk's office serves as the official custodian of the City Seal and maintains all records approved by the Hapeville Mayor and Council, including the Code of Ordinances and campaign filings. The office is responsible for managing agendas, appointments to City boards, and financial reports for the Mayor and Council, as well as making travel arrangements. It acts as the central resource for municipal government, fulfilling open records requests, providing certified documents, conducting municipal elections, and overseeing the alcohol beverage license process. Additionally, the City Clerk serves as the official Open Records Officer.
